Aux Wars is a collection of free online music games. There is nothing to install and no account to make: every game runs straight in the browser on your phone, tablet or laptop. Multiplayer lobbies use a six-letter invite code, so getting the group chat into a game takes about a minute.

Daily music games, new puzzles every day

If you like Wordle, Bandle or Heardle, the dailies are for you. Five short music puzzles reset at midnight UTC, and everyone in the world gets the same ones. Guess which music video has more views in Daily Views, work out the mystery act in Artistle, place songs in time in Before or After, untangle sixteen clues in Medley, and rank ten artists without knowing who comes next in Blind Ranking. Build a streak, then share your score without spoiling the answer. Missed a day? Every puzzle stays playable in the archive.

Multiplayer music games for you and your mates

The multiplayer side is where the arguments start. In the classic game everyone picks a song for the same prompt, the lobby listens together and votes for the best submission. Song Off is a head-to-head battle of music knowledge: take turns naming songs by one artist until somebody dries up. Alphabet Challenge deals a letter and asks everyone for the biggest artist they can think of, scored by real fan counts. Lobbies run from head-to-head up to eight players, live in the browser, no app to download.
